Music These Days is a Tucson-based band led by songwriter, vocalist, and rhythm guitarist Benjamin T. Wilkinson, alongside Chris Byrne (bass), Jameson Clay Koweek (lead guitar), Michael Newman (drums & percussion), and Andrew Berg (keys).
Rooted in songwriter-driven Americana, their music leans into space, feel, and the sound of a band playing together—understated, but intentional. The songs are built the same way the records are made; rooted in performance, shaped with care, and meant to feel lived-in over time.
Their debut EP Two Year (2023) was named a “Pick of the Week” by KXCI and received airplay across Americana (AMA) stations nationwide. Their second release, Big Wide States (2024), expanded that foundation and was featured by Americana Highways and Tucson Weekly. The band is currently working on their third studio album.
