Booking Policy
Scheduling
Sessions are scheduled in advance and confirmed with a deposit.
Because the studio takes on a limited number of projects, each booking reserves dedicated time in the room.
Deposits
A deposit is required to secure your session date.
• Deposits are applied toward your total session cost
• Dates are not held without a deposit
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Life happens — I try to be flexible when possible.
That said:
• 48+ hours notice → deposit can be transferred to a new date
• Less than 48 hours → deposit is typically forfeited
This helps keep the schedule fair for everyone.
Session Timing
Sessions start and end at the scheduled time.
Arriving late may reduce your recording time, so plan accordingly.
If you need extra time, we can extend sessions when availability allows.
Preparation
Preparation makes a huge difference.
Before your session, you should:
• know your songs and structures
• rehearse transitions and endings
• bring instruments in good working condition
• plan who is playing what
Well-prepared sessions are more relaxed, more creative, and lead to better recordings.
Guests
Our studio and control room space cannot accommodate beyond band members.
This also keeps our sessions focused on the artwork and not on others.
Equipment
Basic recording equipment, microphones, and instruments may be available.
If you have specific gear you want to use, you’re welcome to bring it.
File Delivery
After your session, you’ll receive:
• high-resolution audio files
• organized session folders
• rough mixes (if applicable)
Please back up your files once received.
Creative Approach
This studio is focused on performance-based recording.
That means:
• capturing real takes
• minimal editing when possible
• prioritizing feel over perfection
If you’re unsure whether your project fits this approach, feel free to reach out before booking.
Final Note
The goal is simple:
to make something that feels honest and worth keeping.
If that’s what you’re after, you’ll probably feel at home here.
