A small recording studio and record label in Tucson, Arizona.
Built for making real records — performances, not just files.
-
Both. You can book time and record, or we can work more deeply on a full project — music, artwork, and release.
-
Anything rooted in songs. Singer-songwriters, small bands, acoustic music — anything where feel and performance matter more than perfection.
-
Mostly live. Musicians in a room, playing together, capturing something real. Editing exists, but it’s not the starting point.
-
Probably not. There are great studios for that — this just isn’t one of them.
-
Not completely, but preparation helps a lot. If needed, we can shape arrangements and figure things out before we hit record.
-
It’s pretty simple. We set up, get sounds, and focus on performances. The goal is to make something that feels right, not just looks right on a screen.
-
Yes. Single sessions, a few days, or a full album — whatever makes sense for the project.
-
Quick, stripped-down recordings. Usually one or two songs — voice, instrument, and a room.
-
It depends on the project. There are half-day and full-day options, and album work is quoted individually. Best thing is to reach out and we’ll figure it out together.
-
Yes. Arrangement, performance, sequencing — whatever helps the record feel complete
-
I do — selectively. Design is now part of the label, especially for artists making records here, but I still take on a small number of outside projects each year.
-
Yes — that’s a big part of what this place is about. The sound and the artwork should belong to each other.
-
Occasionally. It’s a small label, so only a few projects each year. If it feels like a fit, we’ll talk.
-
Just reach out. You don’t need to have everything figured out — a few songs and an idea is enough.
